ELI is conducting three different research projects:

1. Action Research to Improve Early Literacy in Grades 1 and 2 in Several Telangana Schools (Hyderabad, Telangana).
2. Community Literacies and Schooling (Delhi)
3. Sociohistorical Studies of Early Language and Literacy Instruction in Colonial India (Bangalore, Kolkata, Goa)

In addition, M.Phil and Ph.D. students are also conducting research that will be reflected here, as they develop.
